My campaign
Friends and family members have died because of gun and knife crime. I want young people to STOP carrying weapons and think about what else is out there, apart from joining a gang. I’m using what I know best – design - to fight the negative gangster image and I want to inspire others to do something positive too. Everyone can use what they have to do something.
Campaign Highlights
- Getting the support of Archbishop Desmond Tutu and the Tutu Foundation
- Winning an award from the Body Shop
- Speaking at schools and youth clubs across London
- Watching knives smelted down by the police to make my pendants
- Putting on my event at the Ministry of Sound to promote “Education is the Key”

I really appreciate the work you are doing. I think it is an appropraite campaign at these times since gun and knife crime is a big issue at the moment. Many days you hear how innocent people are getting stabbed and shot on the streets. I think their should be a stop to all this and so therefore i'd like to thank you for all the work you do. I believe that what you are doing is completely necessary in today's society, and that the methods that you are executing in order to achieve this noble goal are very potent. Whenever i am walking home from my day at school, i am always in fear that some gang will threaten me at knife point. As a community, what can we do personally to hinder violent crime in our immediate surrounding enviroment? Thank you very much, Rai

I am from London, and, although I havent suffered from crime, but I am fearful of it happening one day, because London can be quite violent. Crooks try to steal items from people, and beat up those who refuse, and that is really worrying. Killing people is not acceptable, as it is against the law. Murdrous rampages are really distressing, as innocent people are killed. Even peaceful areas of UK have suffered from mass shootings like the one in June, and so I know it could happen to everyone. I want it to stop. Murdering never helped anyone, and never will, so I want people to stop it. Hopefully this campaign will stop it. I hope knife crime, or any crime for that matter, in UK is wiped out.
