I love this, so amazing. These comments and blogs are brilliant. Although I did know that males bees die after having sex and having sex cures having a flu. xxx

Holly Pond, 06 June 2010 01:48

when i came out i'd never felt so proud, i went on my own high for months from just being able to me and not someone else

oli fawcett, 01 May 2010 18:40

I always want to come up to my parents...but... whenever I wanna give them some hints they will be over-reacted...which makes me really worried about the consequences...

FA, 15 October 2009 18:11

I had the same problem cmoing out

jacob burlington, 02 October 2009 09:58

We think this is a really good idea and way to show that if you need to share something and you don't feel confident don't worry your not alone.

Jay R and Colin D, 02 October 2009 09:55

Love your video... love the use of forks and knives, very apt and funny.

Hi Harry, thanks for your comment, and for your interest in the campaign. We’re familiar with the particular verse you’re referring to- Leviticus 18:22. We’re quite used to people citing biblical references as an alternative to producing a reasoned argument against homosexuality. If you are a Christian and believe the Bible is the word of God by which you ought to live your life, this is something to which we have no objection. We would however question why you would adhere to this rule in isolation, yet concede that slavery for example, and other social issues which were considered the norm at the time the Bible was written, are no longer applicable to a modern society? We have no desire to put words into your mouth; we are merely presuming that you do not take every word of the Bible as literal law. If you do, we apologise for the assumption. However, even if you do live your life by the teachings of the Bible, an important point to make is that not everyone does. And as a campaign, bigotry is something we will not accept, and we make no apology for that. At any rate, our campaign aim is not to instigate the legitimisation of the act of two males sleeping together- this has already been done. We aim to end stigma and discrimination against people because of their sexual orientation, which extends far beyond the mere expression of it, which may or may not include a sexual act. In short, we welcome your interest and wholeheartedly support your right to a view on this issue, but if you are wishing to debate the issue, we will only accept reasonable arguments, as opposed to references to religious texts which are irrelevant to our campaign. Kind regards.

Using bible quotes as a justification isn't the best way to promote homophobia, if people like yourself "harry" come forward and openly accept invitations for LGBT groups to work with you then you can see that we are not abominations and you may grasp an understanding of what sexuality is rather than refering to a 2000 year old book which has no experience of sexuality or homophobia

James Copeland, 18 May 2009 13:38

Leviticus 18 something "Thou shalt not lie with a man, as with a woman: for it is an abomination."

Harry, 14 May 2009 18:31

Jacqui, 14 May 2009 11:53
