What's your tipple? Beer? Vodka? Maybe something a little stronger like weed or ketamine? The drink and drugs culture for young people is becoming more acceptable and accessible than the government realises. This needs to be sorted out. NOW. Being once heavily involved with it myself, I've seen the damage it can to do young lives. My friends to be exact. Why is there a need to binge on such altering substances? Why does Britain need to numb the pain? What we need is a government reclassification of the drug system - it's over 40 years old! - and more understanding and help available on the NHS for so-called "junkies" rather than prison sentances. Britain is in the clutches of an epidemic, and WE CAN STOP THIS. Our generation is danger, our bodies are in danger but its our minds that are most at risk.
Vote for change.

Yeah this is more of an issue than people think, it really should be right up there with gun and knife crime (Alexander Rose). The profile picture does need to be changed, its pixelated and blurry. Also it doesnt really look like you are taking this seriously, which is going to put alot of people off. It says alot about you, pictures are much more expressive than a paragraph. Think about it..

I find your mission statement rather disturbing. I am one of these 'so called junkies' getiing help from the NHS. I have a stable life and contribute to society thanks to having been on a methadone script. If it were not for the medication and councellinf I have been given my life would have gone to hell. Yet you, a self proclaimed activist would rather people like me go to prison! Then what? I either continue taking drugs or get back on them when I get out of prison! It is people like you that cause this perpetual cycle of drug use and the shame that prevents from getting help because of the stigma etc. You suggest the drug classification system has been the same for 40 years. This is wrong. It is being updated frequently. Not long ago cannabis was made class C and then back to class B again. GBL and BZP were very recently added as well as an example. You say boldly, WE CAN STOP THIS. Yes, we can, by making drug abuse a public health issue and through education and support, not criminalising victims. Evidence from other countries such as Skandanavia have been quite promising and have shown this can work. Prohibition puts profit from the sale of illegal substances into the hands of criminals and takes away any semblance of quality control (you never know what the hell you're buying). I could say a LOT more but I have run out of time.
