This is the 22nd most popular campaign
My campaign is to encourage young mothers to breastfeed their babies. Many mothers choose not to breastfeed their children for a number of reasons. Whether it is because they found it weird or that they simply didn't get the help, lots of mothers and babies are missing out on the wonderful health benefits it can offer. Around only 24% of mothers under 20 breastfeed which is a very small amount compared to the 50-60% of mums who do over 30. Breastfeeding is a free and easy way of nourishing your child. We need to squash the public taboo of feeding and give mothers the confidence needed at such a delicate time. With my campaign I want to set up friendly events and increase support for young breastfeeding mothers and ultimately change the idea that if your young you can't breastfeed.
Hi Nanci, Just thought I'd let you know that we're currently looking for our next lot of Battlefronters. If you are still interested, please get in touch via the link on the front page of the website or e-mail me direct. Cheers, Angie

This is such a positive message for young mothers who seem to get nothing but negativity purely because of their age. They do need to get together and support each other - lets face it they play the most important role in the upbringing of the next generation.
